Artist Statement

As a Bronx born Brooklyn native I want my art to resonate with the vibrancy of the city. My work in the past was primarily in the audio realm. My intention for my visual artwork is the same, to expand minds through creativity.  To deliver a professional product and to promote politically conscious, socially relevant art that challenges and pushes the main stream without alienating potential viewers and listeners.  I strive to create stimulating images while designing pieces that are aesthetically aware, visually stimulating that have a musical and cutting edge feel.  

I believe that self-expression is inherently political.  While working with artists to create visual platforms for there music I find myself touching on many aspects that of social and cultural expression.  I am influenced by science fiction, fantasy, and animation rooted in early Hip Hop and B boy Culture. These influences do not define my aesthetic completely I try to look at every project with fresh and open mind.

I hope to become an accomplished in creating album covers, posters and digital content for individual artists and bands. I would eventually like to make music videos both live action and animated honing and building my skills as I progress.
